Huge explosions rock UAE forces headquarters at Balhaf port in Shabwa

SHABWA, April 05 (YPA) – Violent explosions rocked on Sunday night the headquarters of the Emirati forces in the port and airport of Balhaf, east of Shabwa province, informed sources reported.

The explosions were caused by projectiles, most likely mortar shells, the sources said.

The sources indicated that three shells fell near the airport of the Balhaf gas facility, which has been under the grip of the Emirati forces and the “Shabwani Elite” militia for years.

The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council accused Islah Party militia of being behind the attack.
