Human Rights Office in Hajjah reveals coalition’s crimes, violations within 6 years

HAJJAH, April 01 (YPA) – Director of the Human Rights Office in Hajjah province, Abdullah Al-Mahmari, on Thursday revealed that 4,015 civilians had been killed and wounded as a result of the Saudi-led coalition attacks on the province during the past six years.

Among the victims were 869 children and 562 women, Al-Mahmari added in a press conference held by the office.

With regard to infrastructure, Al-Mahmari stated that the coalition targeted 190 roads and bridges, 17 power stations and generators, 23 telecommunication networks and stations, 139 government installations, 82 water reservoirs and networks, in addition to an airport and port.

The coalition also targeted 127 schools and institutes, 32 mosques, 411 agricultural fields, seven sports facilities, 48 tourist facilities, five university facilities, two media facilities,18 archaeological sites, and seven islands.

In the economic sector, Al-Mahmari indicated that the coalition has targeted 596 commercial establishments, 54 poultry and livestock farms, 41 fuel stations, 1,049 agricultural machineries, 57 fishing boats, 2,032 food stores, 41 markets, 212 means of transport, and 30 fuel tankers.
