Documents show accused of raping girl in Hadhramaut released

HADHRAMAUT, March 28 (YPA) – Activists on social media have launched an attack on Hadi’s government over the release of those accused of raping a young girl in Hadhramaut province, eastern Yemen.

The activists considered the release of four accused of abducting a 15-year-old girl and taking three days to rape her before the investigation was completed, is a major crime .

The activists asked how the Hadhramaut Public Prosecutor’s Office issues release orders while on a formal strike, in addition to the fact that the incident is not its jurisdiction, but that of the Criminal Prosecution.

The activists called on Hadi’s attorney general, the Ministry of Justice, human rights and women’s organizations and international organizations to intervene before the dilution of the case.

The provinces under the control of the Coalition and Hadi’s government are experiencing a breakdown of security and a lack of justice.
