NCM expects clear to partly cloudy weather within 24 hours

SANAA, March 27 (YPA) – The National Center Meteorology (NCM) said the weather would be clear to partly cloudy on coastal areas and mountainous highland within the coming 24 hours.

The center in its weather forecast on Saturday affirmed that the possibility of light rainfall on coastal, western areas with the sand winds reach the maximum speed at 25 knots in the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the southern coasts.

The center renewed warnings to sea-goers and fishermen, especially the captains of small ships on the western coasts, the entrance to Bab al-Mandab and the southern coasts of sea turbulence and high waves during the next 24 hours.

He stressed that the atmosphere of the Socotra Archipelago would be partly cloudy with the possibility of scattered light rain, and the maximum wind speed might range at 18 knots.

It also expected that the desert areas might be dry and awakening atmospheres, relatively hot during the day, and active winds to reach a maximum speed at 20 knots.
