Civilian killed, another injured in bombing in eastern Baghdad

BAGHDAD, March 24 (YPA) – At least a civilian was killed and another was wounded on Tuesday in an explosion in the east of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

An Iraqi security source stated that the explosion was caused by a motorcycle bomb at the New Baghdad intersection near Al- Darwish furnaces.

The security forces imposed a security cordon in the area that includes the New Baghdad Market, which is considered one of the largest popular markets in the capital.
