Army destroys military vehicle in Midi desert

HAJJAH, May 28 (YPA) – The engineering unit of the Yemeni army on Monday managed to destroy a military vehicle belonging to Saudi-backed militias in Hajjah province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The military vehicle was destroyed when an explosive device went off in Midi desert, killing all its crew members.

Earlier, the army foiled infiltration attempts of the Saudi-backed militias to advance in Midi desert.

Dozens of militias were killed and other injured during their failed attempt to make progress in the north of Midi desert.
