STC accuses Islah Party of using terrorism card

ADEN, March 22 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council has accused the Islah Party of using the terrorism card to thwart the Riyadh Agreement.

Acting chairman of the STC, Nasser Al-Khubaji, said on Monday that the escalation of offensive operations, which targeted the “security belt” members in Mudiyah and Ahwar areas of Abyan province, would not go unnoticed.

During his meeting on with a number of leaders of the so-called “Southern Resistance” in Abyan, they affirmed their readiness to carry out any combat or security missions to preserve the security and stability of Abyan from terrorist elements.
