Israeli military delegation in Riyadh to install Iron Dome

SANAA, March 19 (YPA) – An Israeli military delegation will visit the Saudi capital Riyadh to strengthen the military alliance, set up the Iron Dome and strengthen relations in preparation for official normalization, the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar reported.

The Lebanese newspaper said that it appears that the promised by former US President Donald Trump’s adviser, Jared Kushner, and then Benjamin Netanyahu, new normalization agreements with Arab parties, are not just wishes.

The newspaper added: According to the latest news from Israel, the relationship between the latter and Saudi Arabia is moving to a more advanced phase, with Tel Aviv under full and direct care of the American ally, installing the Iron Dome system in the Kingdom.

The paper pointed out that this step comes to repel missiles and drone aircraft coming from Yemen.

It also said that the delay of normalization is not related to the Palestinian issue as claimed by some, but rather the optimal timing internally and externally, especially on the impact of the American variable in the White House.

According to the Hebrew media, the installation of two systems of the Israeli “Iron Dome” in Saudi Arabia is in its final stages.
