Head of “Hadi government” arrives in Riyadh after fleeing Aden

RIYADH, March 17 (YPA) – Prime minister of “Hadi government” loyal to Saudi-led coalition, Maeen Abdulmalik, arrived in Saudi capital, Riyadh, on Wednesday after he fled “Ma’asheeq” palace, the government’s residence in Aden city, southern Yemen, sources said on Wednesday.

Maeen Abdulmalik’s escape came after angry demonstrators stormed Ma’asheeq Palace on Tuesday in protest against the economic decline and the corruption of government.

The sources indicated that the rest of the ministers are on their way to the Kingdom.
