Sheikh Issa Qassem calls for end to “Saudi and UAE” forces presence in Bahrain

SANAA, March 16 (YPA) – Bahrain’s Cleric Sheikh Issa Qassem has called for an end to the presence of Saudi and UAE forces in Bahrain.

“These forces have intervened to silence the voice of the people, keeping the unjust situation growing day by day and worsening,” Sheikh Issa Qassem said in a statement issued on the anniversary of the arrival of the Al Jazeera Shield forces.

He stressed the legitimate position that the neighbouring countries, the nation and the world were addressing, “which is to prevent the government from denial  the people of their rights and killing them, and obliging them to abandon injustice and administer justice.”

Qassem stressed that the injustice in the region is “the path of weakness and annihilation, and that power and pride and survival in justice.

“The day of the entry of these Saudi-UAE forces into Bahrain is a day when the dignity  was lost, and cooperation on sin and aggression became a waste, and cooperation on righteousness and piety was abolished.”

Sheikh Issa Qassem called for an immediate end to the presence of these forces in Bahrain, which constitutes a blatant unjust.

It is worth mentioning that Saudi-UAE forces entered Bahrain in March 2011 to end the popular revolution that broke out in Bahrain since February 14, 2011.
