UAE brings in foreign experts to explore for oil, gas in Socotra

SOCOTRA, March 15 (YPA) – Experts of different nationalities have arrived at Socotra Island, southern Yemen, to manage the archipelago’s wealth for the benefit of the UAE.

An informed source told “Yemen Press Agency” on Monday that the UAE had brought in experts from Pakistan, India and Egypt to manage fish wealth and to explore for oil and gas on the island.

The source explained that the experts arrived at the end of last week on board Emirati airlines, pointing out that these steps came after the UAE regime fully controlled the air and sea ports of the island.
