Bloomberg: Israeli hospital treats army, police personnel in UAE

SANAA, March 15 (YPA) – “Bloomberg” agency revealed that the largest hospital in Israel will begin providing treatment services to security personnel in the Emirates, in a new step to reinforce the normalization agreement concluded by the two sides last year.

The agency quoted the head of the international department at Sheba Hospital, “Yael Har Even”, as saying that doctors from the hospital near Tel Aviv will go to Dubai for face-to-face diagnostic procedures for about 350 diabetic patients, in the Emirati army, police and fire service, and then They are monitoring their health from a distance.

He added that the hospital will cooperate with the medical center, “Al Tadawi” in Dubai, under an initial contract for a period of 3 years.

 

He pointed out that “Sheba” will also send doctors to train the staff of the “Medcare” Hospital for Women and Children in Dubai, in areas including fetal medicine, according to the “Arabi 21” website.

 

The Israeli medical official said that they are moving quickly to establish a permanent presence in the Emirates, in order to present their offers, adding: “The next step is very, very close.”

 

Last October, the director of the Israeli “Hadassah” hospital, “Zeev Rotstein,” revealed negotiations to establish a branch of the hospital in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates.

 

The UAE signed a normalization agreement with Israel in mid-September 2020, under American auspices, to begin agreements between them in all political, diplomatic, economic, health and military fields.
