Tawoos, ACTED discuss humanitarian projects in Yemen

SANAA, March 14 (YPA) – The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for the Humanitarian Affairs, Abdul-Mohsen Tawoos, discussed on Sunday with ACTED organization, the mechanisms of humanitarian projects in Yemen.

During his meeting with the Country Director ACTED, Sarfraz Lal Din, the two sides discussed also issues related to the humanitarian projects to be implemented by the organization during the coming period.

Tawoos stressed the importance of focusing on the humanitarian projects that would enhance steadfastness, provide services and food security, as well as to improve living conditions, and alleviate the severity of human suffering as a result of the aggression and blockade.

Meanwhile, the ACTED’s official indicated that the organization would seek to implement projects in the targeted areas so that contribute to the provision of services that meet the essential humanitarian needs.
