Deputy FM expresses hope for peace ending Yemen’s suffering after 7 years of war
SANAA, March 14 (YPA) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in the National Salvation Government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, on Sunday expressed his hope for the establishment of peace that ends the suffering of the Yemeni people after the seventh year of the war.
“A few days separate us from entering the seventh year of the steadfastness of the long-suffering Yemeni people,” Al- Ezzi said, in a tweet on Twitter.
He continued: “Knowing people say that it will be a decisive year. Either peace ends the suffering of the oppressed Yemen and returns prosperity to everyone, or a year in which the sleeping volcano wakes up and opens its wide arms to embrace everyone.”
“One of the promises of this year is that there will not be a single mercenary in Yemen, nor will any foreign occupation remain in our country,” he added.
“During the battle we open a fourth window for those who wanted to escape… And we open a fifth window, which is the window of amnesty, for those who wanted to return to the row of the homeland,” he said.
