NCM alerts fishermen against rising sea levels within next 24 hours

SANAA, March 08 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) alerted fishermen and sea-goers of rising sea levels in the south of the Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab during the coming 24 hours.

In its weather forecast, the center expected that the atmosphere would be clear and relatively cold during the late night and early morning hours in the mountainous heights, especially in the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda.

Coastal regions:
The weather maybe awakening to partly cloudy in general, with winds reach its speed at 30 knots on the western coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.

Desert areas:
The weather will be sunny and relatively heat-wave during the day, and the winds will be light to moderate in speed, causing dust and sand.

Socotra Archipelago: The weather is to be partly cloudy in general, and moderate winds reach its maximum speed of 18 knots.
