SANAA, March 7 (YPA) – The “Qasd militia” supported by the American occupation forces kidnapped a number of civilians from their homes in the northeastern countryside of Hasaka, in northern Syria.
Local sources told SANA that, in conjunction with setting up armed checkpoints and cutting off the main roads in the Yarubiyah area, the “Qasd militia” raided a number of villages, including Al-Dardara, Abu Manasab, Al-Tash, and Safana, and kidnapped a number of civilians and took them to an unknown destination.
The sources pointed out that “more than 50 military vehicles belonging to the militia cordoned off the town of Tal Hamis and raided the Al-Malako neighborhood and kidnapped 3 civilians from their homes, including Abu Khawla and Muhammad Al-Arakd and forcibly drove them to an unknown destination.”
The sources pointed out that the “Qasd” militants fired heavy and indiscriminate bursts of their weapons during the raid, which led to the spread of panic and fear among the people, especially children and women.
In the countryside of Raqqa, the “Qasd militia” renewed its raid on residential homes and villages. Yesterday, it carried out a raid on the village of Al Mahmoudli in the western countryside and kidnapped a number of young men and took them to an unknown destination to put them in what it called “compulsory recruitment” in its ranks.
