Kuwait emir issues decree approving new cabinet

SANAA, March 3 (YPA) – The Emir of Kuwait, Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, issued a decree on Tuesday evening to form the new government.

“The Amir, Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, issues a decree to form the new government,” the Kuwait News Agency “KUNA” said.

The Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Anbaa, reported earlier on Tuesday that the formation of the new government will be officially announced and that it will take the constitutional oath before the Emir of the country on Wednesday.

On January 24, the Emir of Kuwait, Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, issued an Amiri decision to reappoint Sabah Al-Khaled as Prime Minister.

It is worth noting that Sabah Al-Khaled submitted the resignation of the government to the Emir of the country after the ministers submitted their resignations to the prime minister, following a request by parliament members to question the prime minister on issues including the formation of the government.
