Taiba Free Medical Treatment Camp receives over 1,700 patients in Sanaa

SANAA, May 27 (YPA) – Taiba Free Medical Treatment Camp in cooperation with the hospital of May in the Municipality, received more than 1,700 patients in seven clinics in Capital of Sanaa.

“The camp will last from May 19 to 31, offering various medical services to patients during the first week, free of charge to more than 1,700 patients in all consulting clinics “internal, heart, urinary tract, nose, ear, throat, skin, women’s clinic and childbirth and children, “and the camp receives about 300 cases daily”, the Medical Camp coordinator Dr. Omar Al-Arqi told Yemen Press Agency.

The camp aims to provide diagnostic medical and therapeutic services, laboratories and radiology in order to alleviate the suffering of the poor and displaced people, he said.

A number of private medical services provided some medication for the camp, and reduced and exempted cases requiring CT scan diagnostic, he added.

Last week, Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakil inaugurated the free medical therapeutic camp organized by Taiba Foundation in the capital’s secretariat.
