SANAA, Feb. 28 (YPA) – Al-Jabsah-Al-Rayyan gas pipeline was attacked in Abu Khashab area in Deir Ezzor countryside, Syria, which led to its outbreak of fire and stopped it from operating.
According to the “SANA” agency, the Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources said in a statement, on Saturday, that the firefighters and maintenance workshops immediately began work to put out the fire and repair the line in order to resume gas pumping.
The gas transmission lines were subjected to repeated attacks during the terrorist war on Syria ten years ago, the largest of which was the bombing of the Arab gas pipeline in the Dameer area in Damascus countryside last August, in parallel with the American occupation forces, in cooperation with the separatist “Qasd” militia, stealing oil wells in the Syrian island and smuggling oil abroad. .
