Humanitarian Affairs Council’s branch in Hodeida condemns detention of fuel ships

HODEIDA, Feb. 23 (YPA) – The branch of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation in Hodeida province on Tuesday condemned the continued detention of oil derivative ships by Saudi-led aggression coalition countries.

The Council’s branch denounced, in a statement the arbitrary measures of the aggression coalition forces against the Yemeni people for more than six years, considering them war crimes that have catastrophic consequences, as they would contribute to the exacerbation of the humanitarian situation and the suspension of vital service sectors.

“These criminal acts demonstrate the hatred of the aggression coalition and its mercenaries against the Yemeni people,” the statement added.

The statement called on international and humanitarian and human rights organizations, led by the United Nations and the Security Council, to fulfill their responsibilities and condemn the perpetrators of these crimes and oblige them to quickly lift the blockade imposed on Hodeida ports and neutralize service and economic facilities.
