Rainy weather continues in Sanaa, other provinces

SANAA, Feb. 22 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology on Monday expected the continuation of sporadic rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, in Sanaa and a number of provinces of the country during the next 24 hours.

In its weather bulletin, the center mentioned the rain would be light to moderate, accompanied by thunder sometimes on parts of the western highland range, parts of the inland plateaus and the western coast, noting that fog may form on the western and southwestern mountain slopes.

The center warned vehicle drivers on mountain roads of the decrease in the horizontal visibility as a result of the fog, calling on citizens to be careful and not to be present in the valleys and waterways during the rains in order to preserve their safety and property.
