Pro-coalition governor injured during storming his home in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 21 (YPA) – Governor of Taiz province, appointed by Hadi’s government loyal to Saudi-led coalition, was injured on Sunday when the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia stormed his home in Aden city, southern Yemen.

Informed sources reported that Nabil Shamsan, the governor of Taiz in Hadi’s government, was wounded in the face, during clashes between guards of his home and elements of the STC militia led by Suleiman Al-Kazimi in Khormaksar area in Aden.

The sources pointed out that a dispute broke out between guarding of Shamsan’s house and the STC militia, which developed into firing and storming the governor’s home.

The coalition command in Aden summoned Nabil Shamsan and Al- Kazimi, and the latter stipulated that the governor leave the residential neighborhood.
