STC kidnaps commander in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 21 (YPA) – A commander loyal to the Saudi-led coalition forces was kidnapped on Sunday in Yemen’s southern city of Aden, according to sources.

The sources affirmed that the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias stormed Hadi government-appointed Taiz governor Nabil Shamsan’s home, located in Aden, and took the commander of the so-called Special Forces of Taiz, Jamil Aqlan.

The sources added that the militias arrested also the governor’s guard commander and took him to an unknown destination, using arms.
