Uprising in Mukalla city against coalition, Hadi government

HADHRAMAUT, Feb. 17 (YPA) – The city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadhramaut province has witnessed a major demonstration  on Tuesday evening calling for the dismissal of Hadi’s governor and the departure of coalition forces from Yemen.

Protesters marched through the streets of Mukalla, chanting slogans calling for the dismissal of the coalition-appointed governor Faraj al-Bahsani.

They also burned his photographs and blamed him for the deterioration of community services.

They called on the Hadi government to improve the living conditions of citizens and save the country from economic decline.

Participants in the demonstration also called for the departure of coalition forces from all provinces and expressed  their rejection of the policy of repression and threats of arrests.
