UAE military reinforcements arrive in Mocha

TAIZ, Feb. 11 (YPA) – Military reinforcements of the UAE arrived on Thursday at Mocha port, west of Taiz province.

Informed sources stated that a shipment of modern armored vehicles was landed at the port during the past hours, and was received by the commander in the so-called “Al-Amaliqa Brigades” loyal to the UAE, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami al-Yafei, nicknamed ‘Abu Zar’aa”.

The move comes in light of the Islah Party forces’ expanding in the western districts of Taiz overlooking the western coast, and heading towards Tor Al-Baha district in order to control the areas near Bab al-Mandab strait in Lahj province.

The sources suggested that the UAE military reinforcements are to reinforce the “Al-Amaliqa Brigades” deployed in Abyan province.
