FOLLOW-UPS, Feb. 11 (YPA) – The Israeli army admitted on Thursday that one of its military bases was subjected to an infiltration operation carried out by unidentified people using drones, in the second incident within days.
The Israeli 12 TV Channel reported that drones were used to storm the ‘Nathan’ military base in ‘Beersheba’, and one of them hit the power grid, causing power cuts, and the perpetrators used that to infiltrate into the base.
The channel noted that the drones were used to collect reconnaissance information before the operation.
The attack perpetrators failed to steal any weapons from the base, but they managed to steal some other military equipment, according to the channel.
The channel did not reveal any details about the stolen equipment, pointing out that no suspects have been arrested in the case so far.
