Transport Minister: Coalition intentionally destroys Yemen’s civilian aircraft, airports
SANAA, Feb. 11 (YPA) – Transport Minister Zakaria Al-Shami confirmed that the aggression coalition deliberately destroyed Yemeni civilian aircraft and airports, ignoring international laws, regulations, agreements and conventions.
Al-Shami said that the aggression coalition countries ignored international humanitarian law and destroyed civilian airplanes and airports in Yemen and are still targeting them in full view of the world that has not yet moved, while they considered targeting the warplanes that bombing Yemen at Abha airport a crime.”
He called on the international community to criminalize the crimes and violations committed by the countries of the aggression coalition in Yemen, especially the blockade imposed on airports, sea and land ports, and the detention of oil derivative ships.
The Minister of Transport reiterated the international community’s request to lift the blockade imposed on Yemeni airports and ports by the aggression coalition countries, stressing that the blockade is a blatant violation of all international laws and norms and a war crime against the Yemeni people.
