Oil Ministry condemns increase in price of domestic gas by mercenaries of aggression

SANAA, Feb. 11 (YPA) – The Ministry of Oil and Minerals condemned the decision of the US-backed Saudi-led aggression’s mercenaries to raise the price of domestic gas produced from the Safer facility in Marib.

In a statement issued by it, the Ministry denounced this unjust and irresponsible decision to increase the price of a locally produced gas cylinder from Saffar, considering that raising the price of gas is a blatant aggression against every citizen in the Republic of Yemen.

The statement emphasized that the Ministry of Oil and Minerals and the Yemeni Gas Company in Sanaa were keen during the last period to neutralize the gas material to facilitate its access to all the people of the country throughout the provinces at the specified price.

The ministry called for standing up to this malicious conspiracy targeting the citizen.

The Ministry of Oil held the mercenary government responsible for this measure, which increases the suffering of the Yemeni people, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances they are going through due to aggression, blockade and salary cuts.

It is noteworthy that the government of the mercenaries of aggression raised last Monday the price of selling the domestic gas cylinder from the Safer facility to 2350 riyals, in an arbitrary measure aimed at increasing the suffering of the Yemeni people.
