SANAA, Feb. 8 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said that Saudi Arabia must reduce its arms expenditures if it wants to sit down with Iran at the table.
Zarif made the remarks during an interview with Iran’s Channel 2 on Sunday evening.
“Saudi Arabia was counting on Trump and after his departure from power it resorted to Israel,” he said, adding that “Saudi Arabia is hindering any negotiations between Iran and the countries of the region because it depends on the outside.”
“Iran is not negotiating the west on the affairs of the region, it is ready for dialogue with the countries of the region,” Zarif explained .
Speaking about the Iran nuclear deal, Zarif stressed that “Iran is the one who imposes conditions.
