STC’s leading member survives assassination in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 06 (YPA) – A leading member of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia survived on Saturday an assassination attempt in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen.

A local source in the city confirmed that the deputy commander of the so-called “security belt force” of the STC, Abdullah Al-Mansri, who hols the rank of captain, was exposed during the past hours to an assassination attempt near Enmaa City in Al-Buraiqa area.

The source pointed out that the gunmen shot Al-Mansri on the road to Al-Haswa area.
