Yemeni recruit tortured to death in coalition’s prisons
SANAA, Feb. 04 (YPA) – A Yemeni recruit in the ranks of Saudi-led coalition has been tortured to death inside prisons supervised by Islah Party militia in Al-Boqa desert controlled by Saudi authorities, sources reported on Thursday.
The recruit called Abdullah Ali Mohsen Al-Dahir, from Rayma province, was imprisoned in the so-called “Al-Fath Brigade” of the coalition in Al-Boqa region, because he had demanded the payment of his suspended salaries for nine months, according to the sources.
The sources added that seven recruits of the brigade and the so-called military police of the Islah militia tortured the victim for more than 24 hours, before he died as a result of the brutal torture.
