Saudi forces refuse to return women kidnapped in Marib

MARIB, Feb. 3 (YPA) – The Saudi forces refused on Wednesday to return the eight women, who were kidnapped by the Islah militants, to prisons in the city of Marib.

According to sources, the commander of the Saudi forces, Brigadier General Yusef Khairallah Al-Shahrani, refused to return the eight female abductees from the headquarters of the Saudi forces to the prisons that run by Hadi’s government and Islah militants in the city.

The sources pointed out that the pressure exerted by many tribes in Marib and their condemnations against the crime of kidnapping the displaced women and handing them to the Saudi forces by the party, has pushed the Islah Party to request the commander of the Saudi forces to return the famale abductees to the prisons of Military Intelligence in Marib.

On Tuesday, dozens of protesters in Marib demanded to return and release the women kidnapped by Islah militants.

Last week, Islah militants kidnapped and handed over tight women to the Saudi forces in a flagrant violation of the Yemeni habits, customs and the human right.
