Very cold weather continues in 7 Yemeni provinces: NCM

SANAA, Feb. 03 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on Wednesday expected to very cold weather on the heights of the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Mahweet, Dhamar, Bayda and Dhalea in the coming hours.

In its Wednesday’s bulletin, the center stated the weather in the highlands of the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout, Jawf and Marib, and in the desert areas during the night and early morning hours will be cold.

The center pointed out that there is a noticeable activity in the surface winds in the southern Red Sea, and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab works on disturbing the sea and rising waves.

The center warned citizens of severe cold shocks, calling them to take the necessary precautions to prevent themselves, especially the elderly, children, and sick people.
