Israel discusses launching attack on Iran

QUDS, Feb. 02 (YPA) – Official Israeli media revealed on Tuesday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed, during a meeting with a number of security and military officials, preparations for a possible attack against Iran.

The official Hebrew ‘Kan’ channel reported that Netanyahu discussed in a meeting that included Defense Minister Benny Gantz, Chief of Staff of the Army Aviv Kochavi and officials in the ministries of the army and finance ministries, the transfer of funds from emergency security bases in favor of expected operational plans against Iran.

This comes at a time Netanyahu called the Israeli Cabinet for Security and Political Affairs to convene Wednesday to discuss developments related to the Iranian issue.
