KHARTOUM, Feb. 2 (YPA) – Yemeni students in Sudan have been holding a full sit-in since Monday evening in front of the Yemeni embassy in Khartoum to demand their benefits , Almawqea Post reported.

Najmeddine Al-Kahlani told the ” Almawqea Post” that they and the head of the student union intend not to leave the embassy and left the sit-in without receiving their dues and work solutions to address the situation of the defaulted names from the students’ statements.

Walid al-Awa, president of the Yemeni Students’ Union in Sudan, said they have tried all means of appeals to the Hadi  government, foreign affairs and higher education without the benefit of the protest, adding that this sit-in is open until receiving dues and addressing the problems.

Yemeni students abroad continue to suffer as their dues are permanently delayed for months, prompting students and student unions to organize protests, protests and ongoing appeals.
