Security threats block main streets in Aden

ADEN, Feb. 01 (YPA) – Military vehicles belonging to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) on Monday closed a number of main streets in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, eyewitnesses said.

The eyewitnesses explained that elements of the so-called “security belt force” of the STC carried out a large military deployment, and closed all the main roads leading to the ‘Caltex’ intersection in Al-Mansoura area.

This came after receiving unknown-source security threats, according to the eyewitnesses.
