WHO warns Britain against mass vaccination of Corona

SANAA, Jan. 31 (YPA) – The World Health Organization called on Britain to abandon its plans to conduct mass vaccination of its population at the current stage, and to limit itself to immunizing the groups most at risk of contracting the Coronavirus.
On Saturday, the British BBC quoted a spokeswoman for the organization, Margaret Harris, as saying: “We tell the British population … you can wait … that is because we believe that countries, after they vaccinate health workers and the most vulnerable people For the risk of infection with Corona, ensure that others have access to the medicine.
Harris added: The adoption of this principle would be a right step both morally and economically.
Harris continued, “We have recently published many studies proving that it is not economically feasible for a country to vaccinate its population just to sit down and say later that everything is fine.”
Margaret warned against the mistake of focusing on unilateral efforts in the field of combating Corona virus … saying: “We all live on one planet and are interconnected with each other.”
