Tremor shakes several areas in Yemen’s central provinces

IBB, Jan. 31 (YPA) – A strong tremor shook a number of areas in Yemen’s central provinces on Saturday evening, local residents said.

According to local sources in the province, the tremor was felt by the residents in all the districts of “Al Udayn, Al-Sayyani, Ash Sha’ir, An Nadirah,  As Saddah”, and nearby areas in Dhalea and Taiz provinces.

The sources said that most of the residents came out of their homes as a result of the quake, which hit the areas.

Earthquake monitoring devices in Yemen are currently out of service, as a result of aerial bombing launched by Saudi-led aggression.
