Protesters disrupt Nikki Haley’s speech at University of Houston
SANAA, May 25 (YPA) – Washington’s ambassador to the United Nations was interrupted by protesters waving Palestinians flags while speaking at the University of Houston in Texas on Tuesday.
The enraged crowd turned on Nikki Haley and chanted slogans “You have Palestinian blood on your hands”.
They expressed their anger by saying: “the blood is on your hand.”
“Nikki Haley can’t you see, you are on a killing spree, Nikki Haley you can’t hide, you signed off genocide, the protesters chanted, adding Nikki Haley you will see, Palestine will be free,”
They said that “Nikki Haley continues to sign off on the genocide of a native people.”
The protesters condemned her support for Israeli’s recent attacks on Palestinians.
They released a statement condemning Nikki Haley’s visit.
“We declare unequivocally that hatred in all its forms is not welcome at our University and that no matter when injustice,” student for justice in Palestine said.
Ambassador Nikki Haley worked to block a UN Human right investigation into the killing of Palestinians protesters by Israeli occupation forces.
100 Palestinians were killed and thousands injured in the recent event in Gaza border.
