ADEN, Jan. 27 (YPA) – Dozens of human rights activists called on organizing a largest protest rally on Wednesday in Aden city, south of Yemen against the Saudi-backed Hadi government.
At the rally, the protesters affirmed that the protest rally will aim to show the international community the extent of the suffering of residents in Aden due to the collapse of basic services and the deterioration of living conditions.
The activists pointed out that the high prices in the city, postponement in paying employees’ salaries, is a systematic policy by the Hadi government to starve the people and residents of Aden, which has been suffering from insecurity since the coalition entered the city in 2016.
They called on various media outlets to attend the protest rally to show and convey the grievances of the city’s sons, to the public opinion.
