Awareness course about mine risk concluded in Taiz

TAIZ, Jan. 26 (YPA) – A field awareness course about dangers of mines, cluster bombs, and remnants of war and air strikes was concluded on Tuesday in Taiz province.

The 45 day-old course, including 36 participants, targeted the districts of Muqbanah, al-Ta’iziyah, Khadir, Mawiyah, Sala and Haifan.

The course stressed the importance of educating citizens in the affected areas about the dangers of mines and foreign objects, approaching or tampering with them, and the need to survey all areas suspected of the presence of projectiles and mines.
