SANAA, Jan. 26 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) confirmed that cold weather would prevail over the mountainous heights in most provinces of Yemen within the coming 24 hours.
The center affirmed in its weather forecast that the weather would be cold over the provinces of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan and Dhalea during the night and early morning.
With regard to the atmosphere of the coastal areas, the center explained the weather might be clear to partly cloudy in general, with its maximum speed of 25 knots, especially the southern parts of the western coasts and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
It warned citizens, especially the elderly, children, and workers, of cold weather in the aforementioned governorates, to take the necessary precautions against the cold wave, as well as livestock herders and beekeepers.
