Video: Military vehicle hits child in Marib

MARIB, Jan. 21 (YPA) – A child was killed after a military vehicle pickup belonging to Islah militants hit him in Marib province on Wednesday.

Activists on social media circulated a video footage showing the run over crime in province, which is under the control of Islah militants.

A surveillance camera captured them moment when the child was hit by a military pickup vehicle in al-Rawdha area, center of Marib.

The scenes showed the insane speed of the military vehicle, which ran over a five-year-old Alqasem Amer A’lous.

The sad thing is that the child was rushed to the Authority Hospital and the doctors left him for long hours in the emergency department refusing to be admitted to intensive care before the cost of treatment was paid in cash, which caused his death.

This joint crime has drawn widespread discontent by citizens who expressed their indignation at the inhumane treatment of child who was left bleeding to death.
