Protest rally organized in Abyan

ABYAN, Jan. 16 (YPA) – Rasd Nafiaa district of Abyan province witnessed on Saturday a protest rally, condemning the lack of basic and necessary services.

The participants in the demonstration that roamed the streets of the district center chanted slogans calling for the provision of electricity, water and other basic services.

The protesters confirmed that electricity has been cut off from their homes for more than half a month, as a result of the stopping of the generators of the “Agrico” company for the purchased energy, due to the failure of the governorate authority to pay the company’s dues.
