Coalition forces sustain heavy losses in Marib

MARIB, Jan. 13 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition forces suffered big human losses, as a result of a failed advance towards the sites of the Yemeni army and popular committees in south of Marib city, military sources reported.

The sources explained that the coalition forces failed to advance on the sites controlled by the army and popular committees in Al-Qaridha Mountain, located between Rahba and Jabal Morad districts.

Dozens of the coalition troops were killed and injured, including 12 of senior military officers and commanders, the sources added.

Meanwhile, the coalition’s warplanes launched several raids on the Rahba and Morad districts, mostly on Najd Al-Majma’ah area.
