Marib tribes threaten coalition with dire consequences
MARIB, Jan. 13 (YPA) – Marib tribes threatened the Saudi-led coalition on Wednesday and exiled Hadi government authority with dire consequences if the security chaos in the province would be continued.
According to tribal sources, the tribal threat came in response to the assassinations, and daily explosions targeting leaders of the anti-Islah militia, the most recent of which was the process to loot trucks and passenger cars near sites of the coalition forces, on Al-Abr road in the province.
This came during a meeting gathered tribes and sheikhs of the province loyal to the Emirates under the leadership of Sheikh Murad bin Mohsen Ma’ili in Wadi Abaidah, north of the city of Marib.
The city of Marib has seen daily explosions of improvised explosive devices targeting military leaders loyal to Sheikh Saghir bin Aziz, Chief of Staff of the “Hadi government” forces.
