Angry demonstrations block Aden’s streets
ADEN, Jan. 13 (YPA) – The port city of Aden, southern Yemen, witnessed on Wednesday angry demonstrations, in protest of the delaying of salaries payment and the closing of exchange shops their doors to citizens, local sources reported.
The demonstrators blocked the streets and burned tires in Al-Mansoura and Sheikh Othman districts, the sources said.
The move comes in light of the continuing devaluation of Yemeni riyal in the provinces under the control of Saudi-led coalition and the complete inability of the Hadi government to address the situation.
