Cuba condemns Washington’s declaration that it is state sponsor of terrorism

SANAA, Jun. 12 (YPA) – Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez condemned the “political opportunism” of the outgoing US President Donald Trump’s administration after it re-included Cuba in the list of “states sponsoring terrorism.”
In his tweet on Twitter, Rodriguez said: “We condemn the cynical and hypocritical declaration of the United States to designate Cuba as a state sponsor of terrorism, every sincere fear of the scourge of terrorism and its victims realizes the political opportunism of this act.”
On Monday, the Trump administration announced, through Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, the re-inclusion of Cuba on the US blacklist of what it called countries supporting terrorism after the administration of former President Barack Obama removed it from this list.
