Health Minister affirms keenness to activate institutional work

SANAA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – Minister of Health, Taha Al-Mutawakel, affirmed on Sunday the keenness to activate the institutional work of the medical sector and to strengthen the supervision and evaluation system.

This came during his presidency of the first consultative meeting with the environmental health leaders in the provinces, Al-Mutawakel discussed a mechanism to develop the performance of environmental and health officials according to the national vision.

The ministry considered the meeting as an opportunity to consult on ways to improve the level of services provided by environmental health departments in the provinces.

The meeting reviewed a list of strategic objectives for environmental health in accordance with the regulatory and legal tasks of the ministry.
