ADEN, Jan. 10 (YPA) – A number of female workers at Friendship General Hospital in Aden province, southern Yemen, were attacked by the hospital’s security guards.
Activists on social media reported that the security guards attacked female employees working in the hospital because of their protest against the suspension of their financial entitlements.
The activists said the individuals assaulted the midwives after they tried to film statements inside the hospital to deliver their grievances to the competent authorities.
They added the attack was carried out by the security forces under instructions from the hospital administration.
Aden and southern provinces have been witnessing ongoing violations against citizens since the coalition occupation took control over the city.
